The board of the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) has announced one of its own, Joe Amene as the General Coordinator for the Nigeria Women Amateur League competition.
The chairperson of the board, Aisha Falode disclosed Friday evening in Lagos that Amene is the best man for the job considering his wealth of experience in high level football administration.
“Joe Amene is tested and trusted to deliver the goods in the Women Amateur League competition which would see amateur clubs from all across Nigeria participate.
“The NWFL board don’t have any doubt that Joe Amene will perform according to expectations,” said Falode.
The 2020 Nigeria Women Amateur League will hold from January 20 – 27, 2020.
The deadline for registration of participating clubs in the Zonal competition is January 16, 2020.
The registration fees have been fixed for N100, 000 per club.
