FC Robo Queens head coach, Emmanuel Osahon has promised the very best performance from his side against visitors, Rivers Angels.
The Lagos landladies are hosts of the Jewel of Rivers in Wednesday’s Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) matchday 10 clash at the Legacy Pitch, National Stadium in Surulere, Lagos.
Both sides had mixed fortune heading into midweek matchday 10 matchup, while the Lagos side were humbled 1-2 in Benin City by Edo Queens the Port Harcourt side barely escaped humiliation with 1-1 draw against Dreamstar Ladies.
Osahon said that past encounters between the two sides have always been interesting insisting that Wednesday’s clash will not be an exception.
“It has always been entertaining and interesting match each time both sides met, it’s still going to be an interesting game come on Wednesday I can assure you but at the end of the day we will carry the day.
“Every player I signed can play any match, we approach pattern and style as we get to the match but you will always expect the best performance from the players.
“Of course, no fear, no intimidation, those days have gone forever, it will be interesting match and we will collect the three points.
“Dreamstar Ladies’ performance against Rivers Angels last week did not change anything rather confirmed the fact that the days are over when a team would have won the league even in the first term.
“That era is over no more now, the domestic players are hardworking, everyone wants to make name so there is no pushover anymore, no pushover, everybody wants to make name and be noticed,” said Osahon.
FC Robo Queens are fifth on the 14-team top-flight log on 15 points seven behind league leaders, Bayelsa Queens.
